workshop: Art on the Flip Side

Four 30-minute sessions on Friday 17 January at Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre at 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am, and 11:30am.
Suitable for: Ages 5–12 years
This artist-led activity invites young participants to explore colour, shape, and pattern through playful creativity. Using simple materials, participants work with bold colours and textures before taking on an artist-guided drawing challenge.
Easily adapted to suit different ages and abilities, each participant will create an individual hanging piece that looks wonderful alone or as part of a group display. Perfect for primary school-aged children, with an added design element for older participants, this hands-on session blends artistic freedom with structured mark-making in a vibrant, engaging way.
