Courtney Wagner
Director
Courtney brings over a decade of experience across the arts and cultural sector, with roles in Regional, State, National, and educational institutions across NSW. Previous roles include Curator at Bundanon, Curator & Operations Coordinator at the Museum of Art and Culture yapang in Lake Macquarie, and Team Leader – Visitor Experience and Artist Educator at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. She also brings international arts experience to the role, including her selection by the Australia Council for the Arts for the Professional Development Program for the Australia Pavilion as part of the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019. Holding a Master of Art Curating from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design (Painting / Art History & Theory) from the Australian Catholic University, she is committed to meaningful curation, public engagement, and working with diverse artistic voices.
At Singleton, Courtney will lead exhibitions, public programs, partnerships, and creative experiences that strengthen community connection.
Tobias Spitzer
Collections
Tobias is an experienced arts professional specialising in collection management, public art and curatorial practice. He manages the care, documentation, and strategic growth of the Singleton Art Collection, ensuring each work is preserved and thoughtfully presented. His expertise includes research, art reproduction and installation, with a focus on precision and respect for artistic intent.
Tobias is a practicing ceramicist and has previously held roles at Newcastle Art Gallery, Maitland Regional Art Gallery and internationally.
Tobias has a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Kassel, Germany.
