Sense of Place

Artist Ellie Hannon has recently been commissioned to create a dynamic new mural in Queen Street Singleton, at the New England Flyover. Join us at the Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre to hear Ellie discuss her life and practice as an artist and muralist, including her plans for Singleton. This major outdoor mural will celebrate the distinctive woodlands and landscape of the Upper Hunter.

Primarily a painter, Ellie creates immersive visual experiences responding to the natural world. Her paintings form emotional and psychological maps that blur the lines between self and place, capturing fleeting moments and moods with bold, harmonious colour schemes.

Don’t miss this chance to meet Ellie and gain insight into her creative process and her vision for the upcoming mural that will highlight the unique beauty of our local landscape.

This is a free event. Everyone is welcome, but places are limited so sign-up using the booking link above.
