Printmaking with Nature
- 10.00am - 12pm
Join the Groundswell Collective for a creative, hands-on workshop exploring the natural world through printmaking. Using leaves, seeds, and flowers, participants will experiment with gel plate printing and cyanotype (sun printing) techniques to create unique, nature-inspired artworks.
The session celebrates the beauty and importance of Singleton’s endemic plant life — including the iconic River Red Gum — and connects to Council’s work to revitalise Col Fisher Park. Supported by Yancoal, this project aims to protect one of the last remaining mature River Red Gum communities in the region.
Along the way, participants will observe the intricate patterns and structures of plants, gaining a deeper appreciation for how these forms grow from a single seed — and leaving with a stronger connection to their local environment.
Presented by The Groundswell Collective in partnership with Singleton Council Environmental Services and the Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre.
