Put Yourself in Motion
Louisa Magrics + Niki Schild
- Tuesday’s + Thursday’s | 1pm – 4pm

Our Studio 2 space invites you to respond to Threads in Motion through freeform body movement and virtual reality (VR) sculpting.
Using our VR equipment, you can shape a unique 3D structure in virtual space, with your movement leaving an imprint beyond the physical. If you choose, your creation can be saved to a growing collection of digital forms.
While sculpting, try experimenting with:
How you move: Step, reach, crouch, bend – engage your whole body. Consider different types of gestures – fluid/sharp, small/large, fast/slow.
How you mark space: Use sweeping motions, delicate traces, bold strokes, or layered textures.
How you focus: Shift your awareness between your body’s motion and the form it leaves behind.
What happens to my creation?
When the exhibition ends, the artists will review the saved sculptures as part of the evolving world of Threads in Motion. Your creation could become part of a larger, collective digital artwork or a 3D-printed form, bridging the virtual and the physical.
There’s no right or wrong way to engage – just move, explore, and create.
